Together with leading global researchers, advocates and leaders, SEMA hosted and participated in a number of exciting events throughout ICFP to discuss emerging evidence, implementation successes and promising solutions, including:

Making sexual and reproductive health markets work for all: The SEMA approach to collaboration for commodity access

As a new partnership, SEMA Reproductive Health is working to promote greater collaboration between global and country actors to create healthy, equitable and resilient sexual and reproductive health markets. In this ICFP session, Hawa Talla from the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) presented early reflections from SEMA’s Health Markets Framework in Senegal, centering the event around the ‘SEMA Approach’ to collaboration and strengthening available data on global, national and product markets. This was followed by a panel to showcase other learnings from ministries of health, private sector, and NGOs partners across Africa, who identified both context-specific and cross-cutting market shortcomings and solutions.
